During his time at Western Michigan, Okorafor showcased his athleticism and versatility on the offensive line, earning All-MAC honors and catching the attention of NFL scouts. In his rookie season with the Steelers, Okorafor saw limited playing time but gradually earned a starting role at right tackle in his second year. He played a crucial role in the Steelers’ offensive line and helped protect quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
