Hand began his football career in high school, where he was a standout player at Woodbridge High School. He was a five-star recruit and one of the top defensive linemen in the country when he committed to play college football at the University of Alabama. During his time at Alabama, Hand was a key player on the defensive line, earning numerous accolades for his performance on the field.
