Adams attended Palo Alto High School, where he excelled in football and basketball. He then went on to play college football at Fresno State, where he continued to impress with his skills on the field. Adams declared for the NFL draft in 2014 and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round, with the 53rd overall pick.
