Njoku’s football career began during his college years at the University of Miami. He played for the Miami Hurricanes football team from 2014 to 2016, earning recognition for his outstanding performance on the field. Njoku declared for the 2017 NFL Draft after his redshirt sophomore season and was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the first round as the 29th overall pick.
