After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, Parham signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent. However, he was waived by the team before the start of the regular season. Parham then signed with the Dallas Renegades of the XFL in 2020, where he had a breakout season as one of the league’s top tight ends. His performance in the XFL caught the attention of NFL scouts, leading to him signing with the Los Angeles Chargers in April 2020.
