Kendricks attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a standout player for the California Golden Bears football team. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2nd round of the 2015 NFL Draft and played for the Vikings for several years before joining the Dallas Cowboys in 2021.
