Adeniji played college football at the University of Kansas, where he was a standout player for the Jayhawks. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and spent his rookie season with the team before being waived and subsequently signed by the Browns in 2021.
