Adeniji attended Garland High School in Garland, Texas, where he played football and excelled as an offensive lineman. He went on to play college football at the University of Kansas, where he was a standout player for the Jayhawks. Adeniji started all four years at Kansas and was named to the All-Big 12 First Team in his senior year.
