Before joining the Titans, Small played college football at the University of Tennessee. During his time with the Volunteers, he showcased his impressive skills on the field and quickly caught the attention of NFL scouts. In 2022, Small declared for the NFL Draft and was subsequently selected by the Titans in the fourth round.
