After high school, Peppers went on to play college football at the University of Michigan. During his time with the Wolverines, he showcased his versatility by playing multiple positions, including cornerback, safety, linebacker, and even some time on offense. Peppers quickly became a standout player for Michigan, earning numerous awards and accolades, including being named a finalist for the prestigious Heisman Trophy in 2016.
