Guyton played college football at North Texas and went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent and spent the 2019 season on their practice squad. In 2020, he was waived by the Cowboys and claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Chargers, where he had a breakout season.
