During his time at Texas Tech, Polk continued to impress with his performance on the field. He consistently made plays and earned a reputation as a dependable wide receiver. In his sophomore season, he recorded 28 receptions for 264 yards and two touchdowns in just six games before suffering a season-ending injury.
