Born in Luton, England, Lewis started his career at the Norwich City academy before making his first-team debut in 2017. He quickly established himself as one of the best young talents in the Championship and helped Norwich secure promotion to the Premier League in the 2018-19 season. Despite the club’s subsequent relegation, Lewis continued to impress and caught the eye of Newcastle United, who signed him for a reported fee of around £15 million.
