Bednarek began his professional career at Lech Poznań, one of the top clubs in Poland. He made his first-team debut in 2014 and quickly established himself as a key player in the side. His impressive performances caught the eye of scouts from across Europe, and in 2017, he made a big move to join Southampton FC in the Premier League.
