Williams played college football at the University of Alabama, where he was a standout player for the Crimson Tide. He was a two-time All-American and a two-time First Team All-SEC selection during his college career. In 2019, he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 11th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
