After graduating from college, Ward entered the NFL Draft in 2020 and signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. He spent the 2020 season on the Cardinals’ practice squad, but was later waived in September 2021. Ward then signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad, before being released in November 2021.
