Palmer first began his football career at St. Thomas More Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, before moving to the United States to attend the prestigious St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Florida. During his time at St. Thomas Aquinas, he was a standout player and helped lead the team to a state championship.
