In the 2020 NFL Draft, Cushenberry was selected in the third round as the 83rd overall pick by the Denver Broncos. He made his professional debut with the team and played in all 16 games of his rookie season. His solid performances as a rookie earned him a starting role on the Broncos’ offensive line.
