In 2020, Taylor signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers and competed for a spot on the roster during training camp. Unfortunately, he was waived during final roster cuts but was re-signed to the practice squad shortly after. Taylor continued to work hard and improve his skills, catching the attention of the New York Jets, who signed him to their active roster in January 2021.
