After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, Harris signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent. He spent a season with the Raiders before being released and joining the CFL team, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Harris then returned to the NFL when he signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016, where he played for a season before being waived.
