Perry started his football career at the University of Michigan, where he played for the Michigan Wolverines football team as a defensive end. During his time at Michigan, Perry was known for his strong pass rush and outstanding defensive skills. In 2020, he entered the NFL Draft and was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent.
