Marte started his football career playing college football at the University of Southern California (USC) where he excelled as a defensive player. After a successful college career, he entered the NFL Draft and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots in 2013. Since then, Marte has become an integral part of the Patriots defense, known for his hard hits and ability to read the game.
