Pruitt began his football career playing college football at Southern Illinois University, where he excelled as a tight end. In 2015, he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. He spent two seasons with the Vikings before moving on to play for the Chicago Bears and the Tennessee Titans.
