Broeker attended Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield, where he began to make a name for himself on the football field. He went on to play college football at the University of Mississippi, where he continued to excel as an offensive lineman. During his time at Ole Miss, Broeker was a key player for the team and earned All-SEC honors.
