After retiring as a player, Nuno transitioned into coaching and management. He started his managerial career at Rio Ave in Portugal before moving on to Valencia in Spain. Nuno then made his way to the English Premier League, where he managed Wolverhampton Wanderers. Under his guidance, Wolves enjoyed great success, earning promotion to the Premier League and securing consecutive top-half finishes in the league.
