Ferguson attended Buford High School in Buford, Georgia, where he played football as a long snapper and linebacker. After graduating, he went on to play college football at LSU (Louisiana State University) from 2012-2015. At LSU, Ferguson was a standout player and earned All-SEC honors during his senior year.
