Anderson began his football career at J.H. Rose High School in Greenville, North Carolina, where he excelled as a defensive lineman. Upon graduating, he went on to play college football at the University of Indiana before transferring to Ole Miss. During his time at Ole Miss, Anderson showcased his skills on the field and quickly caught the attention of NFL scouts.
