Hayes went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft but was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He spent time on the Jaguars’ practice squad before being signed to the active roster in December 2019. In 2020, Hayes was waived by the Jaguars and was later signed to the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad. He then joined the New York Jets in 2021 and has been working hard to prove himself as a valuable player for the team.
