After high school, Moehrig played college football at Texas Christian University (TCU). During his time at TCU, he emerged as one of the top safeties in college football, earning multiple accolades and awards for his exceptional play on the field. In his junior year, Moehrig won the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation’s best defensive back.
