Lowe attended Rockford Auburn High School, where he excelled in football and caught the attention of college recruiters. He continued his football career at the University of Illinois, where he played for the Fighting Illini football team. Lowe proved to be a reliable and skilled player, starting in over 30 games during his college career. His performance caught the attention of NFL scouts, leading to his selection by the New England Patriots in the 2022 NFL Draft.
