Gipson began his football career in college, playing for the University of Central Florida Knights. During his time at UCF, he was a standout player and caught the attention of NFL scouts with his skill and athleticism. Gipson entered the NFL draft in 2019 and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets.
