Bissouma began his professional career at the French club AS Real Bamako, before moving to Lille in 2016. He quickly made a name for himself at Lille, showcasing his technical skills and versatility in midfield. In July 2018, Bissouma signed for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
