Hogan’s list of achievemen
ts and recognitions is nothing short of remarkable. He won a total of nine major championships, including four U.S. Opens, two Masters, two PGA Championships, and one British Open. His most famous year came in 1953 when he achieved what has been coined “The Hogan Slam,” winning all three majors he entered that year – the Masters, the U.S. Open, and the British Open. This feat remains one of the most legendary accomplishments in the history of golf.
