Dean began her cricketing journey at a young age, making her mark in domestic cricket before breaking into the international scene. She represents the Southern Vipers in domestic competitions and has been a key player in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and The Hundred. Her impressive performances in these tournaments, particularly with the ball, led to her selection for the England national team. Dean made her international debut in a One Day International (ODI) against New Zealand in September 2021 and has since been a regular member of the England squad, showcasing her ability to take crucial wickets and contribute valuable runs lower down the order.
