Metcalf played college 
football at Ole Miss before declaring for the NFL Draft. He was selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Metcalf quickly made an impact, earning a reputation for his speed, strength, and ability to make spectacular catches. His breakout season came in 2020 when he set a Seahawks franchise record for receiving yards in a single season.
