Bruce McLaren was a highly talented Formula 1 driver and engineer who also founded the successful racing team, McLaren. Born on August 30, 1937, in Auckland, New Zealand, McLaren had a passion for motorsports from a young age. He started racing in New Zealand and Australia before eventually making his debut in Formula 1 in 1958.
