Hulme began his F1 career in 1965, driving for the Brabham team. He went on to race for McLaren in 1968, where he achieved his greatest success in the sport. Hulme won the F1 World Championship in 1967 driving for Brabham and continued to showcase his skill and talent with McLaren, winning several races and finishing on the podium numerous times.
