Grosjean began his racing career at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of various motorsport categories. In 2009, he made his Formula 1 debut with the Renault F1 Team, where he served as a test driver. He then went on to compete in GP2 Series, winning the championship in 2011, before returning to Formula 1 with the Lotus F1 Team in 2012.
