Perritt began his football career at the youth academy of Nottingham Forest, one of the most renowned football clubs in England. He spent several years developing his skills at Forest before signing his first professional contract with the club. During his time at Nottingham Forest, he gained valuable experience playing in the U23 team and also had a loan spell at National League side, Alfreton Town.
