Brunskill initially played for non-league teams before making his professional debut for Accrington Stanley in League Two. He then went on to play for York City and Hartlepool United, honing his skills and gaining experience in the lower divisions of English football. In 2020, Brunskill signed for Blackpool FC, where he currently plays as a defender.
