Ruddy began his football career at Cambridge United’s youth academy before moving on to play for several clubs throughout his career. He has played for clubs such as Everton, Walsall, Rushden & Diamonds, Stockport County, Crewe Alexandra, Norwich City, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
