Dacres-Cogley began his footballing career at Birmingham City, where he came through the club’s youth academy. He made his professional debut for Birmingham City in August 2016, and went on to make a total of 13 appearances for the first team. In 2019, Dacres-Cogley joined Crawley Town on loan for the 2019-2020 season, making 13 appearances for the club.
