Before joining Boreham Wood, Abayomi played for several clubs both in Nigeria and abroad. He started his professional career at a local club in Lagos before moving to Europe to play for lower division teams in France and Belgium. Abayomi’s impressive performances caught the attention of scouts from Boreham Wood, and he signed with the English club in 2017.
