Ridehalgh started his career at Huddersfield Town, where he made his debut for the first team in 2009. He then went on loan to various clubs including Swindon Town, Chesterfield, Rotherham United, and Tranmere Rovers. Ridehalgh eventually signed a permanent deal with Tranmere Rovers in 2013, where he spent several successful seasons and became a key player for the team. In 2020, he made the move to Bradford City and has continued to impress with his performances.
