Crocombe began his professional career in the youth setup of Oxford United, a club based in Oxfordshire, England. He made his first-team debut for Oxford United in 2012 and went on to make 12 appearances for the club over three seasons. During his time at Oxford United, Crocombe also had loan spells at Nuneaton Town and Barnet to gain more playing experience.
