Newall began his professional football career at a young age, joining the youth academy of Nottingham Forest. He spent several years developing his skills with the club before moving on to play for other teams in the lower divisions of English football. Throughout his career, Newall has played for clubs such as Ilkeston Town, Carlton Town, and most recently, Alfreton Town.
