In January 2018, Kabamba signed for National League side Havant & Waterlooville, where he continued to impress with his performances on the pitch. His exploits at Havant & Waterlooville caught the attention of League One club Portsmouth, who signed him on a one-year deal in January 2019. However, Kabamba found limited playing time at Portsmouth and was loaned out to Macclesfield Town in the following season.
