Norburn started his career at the youth academy of hometown club Bristol Rovers before making his senior debut for the club in 2010. He then went on to have loan spells at clubs such as Sutton United and Torquay United. In 2014, Norburn joined Plymouth Argyle on a permanent deal, where he spent two seasons before moving to Guiseley AFC.
