After several successful seasons with St. Patrick’s Athletic, Feely caught the eye of larger clubs and in 2017, he signed with Waterford FC, also in the League of Ireland. Feely continued to impress with his performances at Waterford FC and was eventually scouted by Barrow AFC, an English club based in Barrow-in-Furness.
