Seddon began his youth career at his hometown club Hitchin Town before joining the academy of Premier League side Reading. He made his professional debut for the club in 2017 before going out on loan to gain experience. Over the years, Seddon has had loan spells at several clubs including Stevenage, AFC Wimbledon, Birmingham City, and Portsmouth.
